Camphor trees grow at a height of 35m and the active ingredients are present in almost every part of this tree. The leaves of this plant are bit waxy and glossy in appearance. When crushed, it smells like camphor. The tree produces bright green foliage during spring that also has bunch of white flowers. The fruits appear in clusters and looks like berry.
The chemical constituents of Camphor Essential Oil attribute it with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, carminative, diuretic, insecticide, and laxative properties. Camphor oil has been used in the treatment of nervous depression, acne, inflammation, arthritis, muscular aches and pains, sprains, rheumatism, bronchitis, coughs, colds, fever, flu and infectious diseases. It is a well-known repellent of moths and other insects, and is an ingredient in moth balls

Had been looking for white camphor oil and finally found it. Tried to use yellow camphor but it was too strong. Excellent toothache pain relief by blending clove bud. Very happy.
