Mugwort Essential Oil (Armoise Oil) is helpful in stressful/emotional situations when used in very highly diluted (0.25%) topical applications

Mugwort Oil was traditionally used as a charm to protect against evil and danger. In Chinese medicine, the dried, compressed leaves (moxa) are used to briefly warm the skin in case of internal cold. Mugwort Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties as an anti-epileptic, anti-hysteric, cordial, digestive, diuretic, nervine, stimulant, uterine and vermifuge substance.
Thujone shows evidence of a cumulative effect that can result in convulsions, therefore we recommend short-term (less than 7 days) or occasional topical use only in very low dilution (no more than 0.25%). Do not use with small children, elders, epileptics, pregnant and/or nursing women. Dilute before using. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.
