Cassia essential oil is one of the most universally loved essential oils. Its aroma has long been associated with comfort and calm. Cassia oil is used for colds, rheumatism, kidney and reproductive complaints. Cassia oil is also used to assist in dispelling depression, apathy and exhaustion. It is used since the primeval times for treating a wide range of skin problems including acne, pimples, blackheads, ringworm, athlete’s foot, itching, wounds and other skin infections.
* Cassia oil should be diluted with a carrier oil for topical use and can be very strong when inhaled directly.
Both Cassia oil and Cinnmaon Oil have very similar chemical composition. The oils have a spicy and warm aroma but Cinnamon bark oil has a stronger aroma than the scent of the Cassia oil. Both oils can be used as an antibacterial and antifungal agent. It can also be used in aromatherapy as a relaxant.
